Coffee Table Books Make the Best Gifts (to Give and Receive)

Raise your hand if you struggle to answer that age old question “What do you want for Christmas this year?”. 🙋

Stylish Coffee Table Books

I'm a total sucker for coffee table books. I love to read them, I love how they make a space look styled, and they truly make the perfect gift for any occasion. Here is a list of a few of the many books I'd love to add to my slowly growing collection:
1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6
Here is a look at my current collection:

I've received each one of these as a gift (excpet for GBGP which I won in a giveaway!) and I love each and every one.  Thank you to my brothers and their beautiful girlfriends, my godmother Aunt Trish, my darling friends Bre and Mike, and my loving Boyfriend for these beautiful books!
To end off today, I'd like to send my thoughts and prayers to all those affected by the horrible events that took place in Boston yesterday. I am filled with sadness for all those who lost lives and limbs and loved ones. My heart goes out to you.

It's Saturday, which means that the bf returns from his NYC trip today! I know I'm used to long distance, but since he was in another country this week, not being able to text or talk has been lonely!
Here is how I've been spending my Saturday anxiously awaiting his arrival:
1) Wore my fun tribal/ikat shorts out and about
2) Painted my nails in OPI's "My Chihuahua Bites"
3) Finished my Domino book that my guy got me for my birthday..
right in time because I received this Design Sponge book in the mail from
my lovely and thoughtful friend Breana. Thank you so much Bre for all of your support and love!
4) Finally found some acrylic trays. So happy.

Hope you all are having a great weekend! I'll be posting again tomorrow in honour of  Canada Day!

22 with Wishes

In exactly one week, I turn 22. I hope it brings many exciting opportunities my way (and maybe a few bday goodies). I've put together this little list, just in case anybody in my life needs some ideas (aren't I thoughtful?):
1. Domino's Book of Decorating.
All of my fave design blogger's go to book, and it looks fab on a coffee table vignette!

2. I See Noise Prints.
I like the Chanel No. 5 and the Miss Dior (the first perfume my bf ever bought me!).

3. A white serving tray like this one...or maybe lucite.
Perfect for on top of an upholstered ottoman.

4. A coral skirt with pleats like this one.
So gorgeous, trendy, summery, and fun.

5. A pair of pearl studs.
They are subtle enough for every day use & always a classic.

6. A Bfrend Bracelet.
The hot pink with gold chain is fierce! Been spotting these all over the blogosphere lately.

And there we are friends and family! Nothing too crazy or expensive. Hint hint, nudge nudge. Clocks a ticking! (I'm only kidding...sort of).
